Demetres Bramalea - Brampton

I've been going to this Demetres since 2015 and it's been splendid ever since I began coming here. It's a great spot to grab a delicious dessert without being over the top. Priced very fairly and great atmosphere/vibes with the decor inside.I was here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with the refreshed the interior. New seating and tables throughout, decor has been updated and refreshed, the higher table top seating has been removed which was really nice to see. It opens the space and makes it feel like a new restaurant again.We ordered two items and both were fantastic. We ordered the Pomme Pilot Belgium Waffle and Coco Ono Cake. We've been ordering these same items for YEARS and the quality remains the same if not get better as time progresses.The staff is really friendly and was surprised they offered us a booth without us even asking!If the owner/manager is see this please continue to improve and refresh as the years go on.Overall great spot for hanging out with friends, going on a date, or submitting to your sweet tooth! Highly recommend.

Visited this place after it was recently renovated on a Monday evening and it has a much softer and newer vibe on the inside. Our server was very sweet and our food was ready almost right away. I like getting the cocoa ono with the white chocolate silk item. The seasonal item called pomme pilot with the Belgian waffle is also delicious while the apples are not too sweet. It was a great experience and I enjoyed that we were able to get a booth since the place wasn’t too busy.

One of my best dessert place in Canada.Bramalea location has a nice vibe and nicely decorated, and always packed.The place is little cramped with all the seats really close to each other.Food quality and service was great. Staffs were brilliant and friendly.Definitely recommend.

Ordered a Waffle with brûléed Bananas, Honey Vanilla ice cream, Strawberries, Coulis and Nutella. Was absolutely delicious and service was amazing. Will surely go back.Edit (August 5, 2018):We ordered the Blush on a Waffle, and had Caramel Sauce, Nutella and Bruleed Bananas and left out the White Chocolate Sauce. It was perfect and we loved every bite. Needless to say, this wont be our last visit. If you are in the area, go and get a waffle or crepe. It is worth it.Edit (August 19, 2022):Ordered the Peach Perfect. Peach-Mango ice-cream, Ginger-infused peaches, and added Nutella and Strawberries (at $3 each). Absolutely sublime. Can't wait to go back.Edit (December 17, 2022):Ordered the Pretty In Pink on Belgian Waffle with bruleed bananas, replaced the white chocolate sauce with Nutella. The portions seem to have gotten smaller, although the taste was as good as we remember it.Edit (November 2023):Today, we went for the waffle with Vanilla, Strawberries, Bruleed Bananas, Nutella and Golden waferettes. Portion size is generous, as expected from my previous visits. Looking forward to their winter menu.
