I visited this location (attached to Petrocan on Mississauga and Hallstone) just before 11am and ordered a bacon n egger and a hashbrown. At the speaker I asked to ensure the egg and hashbrown both be relatively fresh since the last time I ordered around this they had obviously been sitting for awhile. She assured me at the speaker and again at the window when I asked that both were fresh. Unfortunately when I actually got my food the hashbrown was soggy as heck and had obviously been sitting for awhile (the egg was ok) so I went in to say hey can I have a fresh one this isn’t good and showed her how soggy from oil the hashbrown was. She then just lied and said they just come like that always. After asking again they did finally make me a fresh one (which was sooooooo much better) but I was really annoyed at the poor service and being lied to 3 times about it being fresh when it clearly wasn’t. I understand food isn’t made to order but they shouldn’t be serving food that has clearly been sitting there past their respective time limits, especially if a customer has asked for a fresh one and said they didn’t mind waiting for it. We utilized the drive-through service at this A&W, and on the night of February 13th, there were two Indian girls on duty. Initially, they misinterpreted our order, failing to confirm it through the speaker when we placed it. Moreover, they seemed reluctant to provide seasoning salt on the side. Upon reaching the payment window, we discovered that the food was cold after completing the transaction. Upon returning and addressing the issues of the incorrect order and cold food, the girl attempted to justify herself instead of acknowledging the mistakes. Despite a lack of busyness and their engagement in casual conversation rather than ensuring proper food service, she offered a complimentary apple pie in an attempt to appease our dissatisfaction. This left us thoroughly disappointed, raising concerns about the reliability of the food quality following numerous negative experiences. Never had this sort of bad experience in A and W . Stop employing incompetent people who can not understand English and don’t want to work.
