We made reservations at Antica Osteria for a friend’s birthday last night, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant had overbooked and there would be a bit of a wait as there were a few tables ahead of us. While I understand that these things can happen, it was the way the situation was handled that truly soured our experience. The hostess was incredibly rude and showed no empathy towards our situation. Instead of apologizing and trying to make amends, she seemed indifferent to our inconvenience and mentioned other parties had made reservations ‘weeks in advance’ in comparison to our more recent reservation. After waiting for half an hour without any acknowledgment or a promising update on our table, we decided to leave. It's incredibly disappointing when a restaurant fails to honor reservations and treats customers with such disrespect. As someone who enjoys dining out and supporting local establishments, I expect better service than what we received at Antica. I’ve dined at the establishment before and it has never been this bad. I hope they take steps to improve their customer service and avoid similar situations in the future as it is very unfair to their customers.

The food was great and very delicious. As someone who is not a fan of pasta, I ate everything on my plate and left no crumbs. The service was too notch and conversations with the servers, great! This was an experience I really enjoyed because the first time, we attempted having an unplanned dinner here, we were told they were fully booked and couldn 't attend to us. This was some sort of rematch which I didn 't regret getting. For dessert, we got the 'chocolate temptation ', I believe that 's what it 's called and it melted in our mouths in seconds....loved it! Overall, I will recommend this for anyone who wants to have a nice dining with their friends and loved ones or even for some celebration.

Thank you to Antica Osteria! Our daughter son in law hosted their wedding dinner here today and it was a wonderful experience. The service, the ambiance, the food were all on point. Thank you to Angela, Isabella, Jacob, all the servers and most importantly the Chef. We have been customers for 10+ years and will continue to dine at our favourite Italian restaurant. Food: 5
