The Nags Head - Braintree

Popped in for a meal before heading to first friendly football game. Lovely air conditioning, excellent service from Lauren and incredibly quick delivery of the meal that was beautifully cooked. 1 excellent flat-iron steak wonderful fish and chips.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff who were extremely helpful, and the food from Chelsea in the kitchen was delicious. The food service was exceptional, and the drinks were expertly prepared by a lovely person with excellent customer service skills

A group of seven of us made a reservation for a Christmas meal. Six of us chose the turkey while one person requested the festive sausages. However, when the meals arrived, there were no festive sausages and everyone had to have turkey even though it was preordered. Additionally, two of us had preordered the bakewell mince tart for dessert but were instead given 5 mince pies for the entire table. Despite these errors, we were not satisfied with our experience and would not return to this restaurant.

Excellent day went to see my family and decided to go for lunch, staff were friendly and helpful, kids were welcome and could get in as need disabled access. Food was great so will definitely be going back again.

Friendly staff. Good menu for food. Reasonable price for food and drink. Smoking area out back. Only thing didn't like about that was you have to go up a steep step to get too tables.
