Lovely pub, very friendly staff, food very good, reasonably priced also. Really can't go wrong if your looking for a good country pub Kid-friendliness: We went in the daytime, generally really good, did encounter bad language in bar area on both visits but my son a baby do wouldn't hear it, but that isn't the pubs fault. Quaint friendly pub, friendly staff and dogs. Free cheese and bread on a Wednesday that's a nice little addition to our drink. Would go back for sure. Alittle hard to find parking but it was my first visit to village and I'm sure I will sort parking better next time. Wouldn't let it stop me from going back.
