Starbucks - Braintree

We always stop at this Starbucks on the A12 when travelling towards London, probably around once a month. The team here are excellent, Sue the manager has a wonderful team. They are always friendly and helpful, they actively try to recall your preferences. In these challenging times the team have still had big smiles and are ready to help! Excelllent!

Stacy, our barista, gave us fast service and served us some delicious coffee and muffins. I was able to reload my Starbucks Card with more credit, and also redeemed my Starbucks points for a free coffee, which added even more value to our experience. Overall, we enjoyed the great coffee, delicious cakes, and excellent service.

We arrived at the A12 Riverhall Starbucks at 6:45pm to pick up a cheese toastie and coffees before heading to a night event, but they had already turned off the ovens and seemed ready to close. We expected it to be open and serving until the stated closing time of 7pm.

Stopped for journey break, the toilets were quite simply a disgrace. I would like to think it was due to being over busy however the cobwebs told a story of much longer neglect. Cold air dryers did not add up to a visit one would consider covid safe. No cheery welcome. A loitering member of staff would be best employed with a bucket of hot water and bleach.

Sue and her team do a really good job, they are open early and nothing is too much trouble. It's clean and convivial a really good stop on the a12. I thoroughly recommend it.
