Spice Zone Takeaway - Braintree

We have been ordering from Spuce Zone for 5 years. Not only is the quality of food great but the service is amazing. Food comes hot, tasty and within specified time. Spice Zone has also supported the community providing prizes and donating to charities.

We used to love spice zone, but so disappointed tonight. 2 pieces of chicken in the Korma, and the rest of the meal was swimming in grease (literally). We left 3/4 of our dinner. Such a shame as this used to be our go to Indian takeaway.

Having grown up in East London i have always been spoilt for choice when it comes to Indian food. I have lived around halstead area for about 4 years now and have tried many Indians within a 10 mile radius and never been really impressed. I must say that the Spice Zone is by far the best around . Tender meats , fantastic flavours and on point every time! I order at least twice a month and my Wife and I are always very impressed with the consistancy. Lamb Madras top draw... Chicken Tikka main lovely! to be honest i have enjoyed every dish we have tried.

Spice Zone is the only takeaway in Halstead where you get consistently great food. It’s always hot, fresh and delivered on time. I have recently discovered the chicken shashlik and it’s delicious! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Spice Zone if you are looking for a tasty meal.

This is our regular Indian take out and we have always had great food. That is why I have still given the Restaurant a 4 rating. On this occasion one of our meals was the Vegetable Marsala from the Vegetable Specialalities options. The meal was basically just some sauce with a couple pieces of potato and some cauliflower. Not up to normal high standards and very disappointing. I will say this has been a one off and we will try again just not order the vegetable Marsala.
