Northwind Grille - Brainerd

I miss this place so much. Best breakfast in the area. Best, crispy hash browns. Best steak and eggs. Best breakfast sandwiches. Best cheap coffee. I hope they will open again soon, they have been closed since Covid-19 broke out.

We showed up with a group of 9 and 2 more coming. We didn't call in before, which is really inconvenient for them, but they took really good care of us. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. They had great service and our waitress was very sweet. The food and shakes were good also.

We eat here every once in awhile. We would eat there more but the cooking needs some improvement. The waitresses are not as good as other places it's hard to get good service. Some times it's like you are a bother they do more chatting to each other then their job. We keep hoping we'll go there one day just be blown away. It's a good place but for us not our first choice.
