Wild Texan BBQ Company - Bragg Creek

Wild Texan was not consistent in their hours although their food was quite good. This location in jinxed and most businesses that have opened here have closed as has the Wild Texan.

This restaurant did not have consistent hours but it you did catch it open and they had meat cooked it was good. Irrelevant now as they have closed the business.

We had fabulous food, (the ribs melt in your mouth!), and wonderful fun at the Wild Texan BBQ Company in Bragg Creek. Helpful staff, incredible cook, and a down home feel. Plus - the manager arranged for a dart board to be installed so my hubby and I could have a Dart Date Night! I highly recommend this friendly, clean and accommodating restaurant in Bragg Creek.

Food is excellent and plentiful, service is friendly and efficient, and prices are reasonable. We'll be back!

I'll start by saying I gave it a rating of 1 because of the servers. The food on the other hand, was probably the most disappointing meal we have had. I should have known when the place was empty at supper on a Saturday night. The gumbo was a flavorless chicken and rice soup. We also had their brisket meal, again flavorless. The 5 very thin slices of brisket came with cornbread and 2 sides, (potato salad and coleslaw was my choice) again tasteless. In my opinion very little passion went into creating these meals. Prices are off the wall. The soup was 12$ and the brisket 24$. You get more meat on a 6" sub at subway and you will be more satisfied. Shame on you for calling yourself a Texas BBQ restaurant.
