O Manel - Bragança

Folling several guides we went to manel and: slow service, almost one hour to be served... the steak over cooked and one other tosted... the price quality was something not expected. to expansive and low quality... i did not recomend it.

We had a terrible meal, the waiter was more interested in reading a magazine than working and then added a service charge to the bill.The chef had extraordinary talent, she managed to make Bacalhau both tasteless and tough even with the pile of onion on top. We had to plead with the waiter to get my wife's fish meal which turned out equally as bad as mine.They were having a very bad night, we should have realised when we walked in to an almost empty room.

This nice restaurant has been around for many years but has not lost any qualities. Local traditional dishes, lunches offer a more varied menu. Friendly family-style service. The wine list is short but inexpensive and contains local wineries. Definitely try the traditional desserts.
