Tasquinha Bracarense - Braga

The food is dirt cheap. the typical diário quality meals. different combos available with or without soup, drinks coffee etc. for take away. getting just the meal costs 3.50... not worth the work to cook myself!

Let's face it. If you can get a drink and a one dish meal for €3.50, you can't expect wonders, can you? We actually went for the €4.50 and the €5 menus and for that we had desserts and a coffee. These prices are aimed at the university students; both university and the residence are nearby. Before going further, I'd like to mention that there are actually 3 restaurants, all bearing the same name. The owner coud have named them 1, 2 and 3, for example, but he didn't. 2 of them are next to each other, but the third one is farther up the road . This is where the parties are usually had. We were in the one in the middle. We were late by Braga's standards so there weren't that many choices left. We had the lamb, which came with some salad, potatoes and rice. Unfortunately, something in there was really salty the chef must have made a mistake there. That was a shame. The other dish we had was the duck and rice, which didn't have much duck but was otherwise pretty edible. The desserts were all right. The waiter who attended to us spoke English well and was also very helpful. He was the best part of the lunch, which would have been easily forgotten, otherwise.

Placed next to the bigger university of the city, in the main street for the students and night life, it`s a nice place for a cool lunch or dinner, they always have lots of options for both lunch and dinner and is a cheap meal for sure, typical dishes and some nice twists as well.Cool place for a inexpensive lunch/dinner stop.

Excelente variedade de pratos. Preço convidativo: 5€ o menu (sopa/bebida/prato/sobremesa), boa qualidade e excelente atendimento. Vale a pena!

Ainda estou a espera das febras que encomendei , serviço muito demorado , achei que o serviço ficou aquém das expectativas . P.s havia pão a voar no restaurante. P.s 2 Afinal acabou de chegar Adorei , acho que estava divinal ! Voltarei certamente !
