Shama - Bradford

Service very friendly and efficient. Plenty of choice from menu and enjoyable food. Quite busy for Wednesday,but we always book. Took our own alcohol and table water provided. Would recommend.

Very nice food but odd service there were about 10 employees (not an exaggeration) all stood about some on their phones. Not really doing anything. We had to go up to the counter to pay and considering how many people there were the service wasn’t very good.

Food not nice both curries tasted and looked like tomato sauce. No spice or difference in flavour between the paneer balti and karahi chicken. Both watery and bland. We use the Shama regularly and this was definitely nit the usual standard.

The restaurant was very clean, the furniture and decor were immaculate and the food quality was excellent. On the 'not so great ' side the vegetable samosa starter was very small with a minuscule salad portion. The main course chapatis were way too thin and perhaps the thinnest I think I have ever seen in any Asian restaurant! The waiter service was too overbearing with constant interruptions and was way to abrupt, (borderline rude) when clearing the table at the end of our meal.

My absolute favourite curry house. The staff are wonderful, the portion sizes are huge and the food is always top quality. I can’t recommend highly enough!
