The best place to stop if they really want good crafts age or cider at a good price when in the middle of the city at any time of day. cheap traditional bar snacks. varied drinks. good ambiente. pleasant staff.

Fantastic choice of guest and local ales. If your not sure what to try ask the lad behind the bar, he knows his stuff. Definitely a must place to visit, food smells fantastic and the corned beef pie and peas is absolutely delicious

Great place. Spent all afternoon there with friends drinking great real ales and eating great home made pork pies. A very enjoyable time was had by the whole group. BTW. It is now known as Jacobs.

Absolutely lovely pub. Great range of beer and ciders, and the home made pies are delicious! Very friendly staff. I will definately be back when next in the area.
