The best beer in haworth excellent value for money and excellent service

I arrived as a stranger and was made to feel very welcome and included by the fabulous Glenn and his customers. A friendly, fun atmosphere in the small bar (a cafe by day) encouraged me to return the following evening. It is situated approximately 5 minutes walk from Main Street but easy to find. They have a small but well selected range of beers. I tried two from Bridgehouse Breweries: on the first night Glenn recommended 'Aired Ale ' which, as I 'm no expert I can only describe it as a bitter type beer with a lovely honey aftertaste very pleasant, but I had to sample several more pints just to be absolutely sure. It was not available the second evening so instead I decided on 'Blonde ', a light, clean blonde beer, probably somewhat more familiar to my neanderthal, lager drinking palate, but in no way comparable. 'Blonde ' had more depth (whilst still very light), tasted fresher and less 'artificial ' than my usual 'amber nectars ' that 'reach the parts other mass produced, chemical lagers cannot reach ', with the added bonus that, despite having far too many, my head felt fine the following morning. The prices were very competitive I think the beers I tried were £3 a pint, which was excellent value. I would highly recommend Al 's Ale House and can 't wait for my next visit to Haworth.
