I hate to say it but the food here was a big let down if you are looking for true Indian food although the guys who run this place are super friendly and take pride in what they do. Unfortunately it doesn't translate to taste.First off it is nice that they let you try things before you order. Most of the food is from a hot table and not made to order.The butter chicken is not traditional with a rich and spicy flavour. It's more of a Thai dish with coconut milk base. Not that it tastes Bad, but it's not Indian style.The Samosas have obviously been pre made and are warmed up. Nothing special here. No crispy pastry and it's more like soggy cardboard. Channa is missing something although it's not spice.I give them credit for the unique style of ordering and putting a selection of food together for $9.99I hope these guys can figure out how to make better food because they are great.Food truly is only a 2.Sorry guys.Also free WiFi.Family of 4 was $43 for take out.We won't be back.

I finally made it to India Mix restaurant tonight. I ordered the Thali plate and had butter chicken, chana masala and curry chicken. I chose to order everything exactly as they prepare it. The butter chicken was rich and flavourful. It could have been warmer, although I do understand the problem of holding the food at a hotter temperature. My only suggestion would be to portion it as the rest of the meal is being put together and perhaps putting it under the salamander to warm a bit. Chicken curry was very tasty, great gravy. The channa (chick peas) had just the right spice for me. Again, very flavourful. With that you get rice, and raita and a dessert. Also your choice of naan. I had the garlic naan with fresh coriander sprinkled on top. How can you go wrong for $10?. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had a good chat with them while eating my meal. They are very excited and involved in what they put out.I would highly recommend it and will be going back. As to spiciness, that is a personal choice and they will turn up the heat for you. They will also let you have a taste before you order to adjust the spice. I enjoyed every bite.

I truly enjoyed the tastes and variety of Indian cuisine offered. I had a light lunch which left pleasant tastes in me for hours to come. Will definitely visit for dinner soon.

Decided to be adventurous one evening . We were not disappointed . We enjoyed the combos . We were not familiar with Indian food . The lovely couple took the time to explain the dishes to us and the contents . The food was prepared as we waited . It was hot and fresh . We will be back .

First time trying this restaurant. Had the Butter Chicken which was just amazing. It came with Rice, Raita, Naan Bread and a Dessert. My choices of sides were the Palak Paneer and Mixed Vegetables. All delicious and authentic, fresh and tasty. I wasn't keen on the dessert which was a round, pastry-like sweet. My daughter had the same, except she had the Chana Masala instead of the Mixed Veg. She loved her meal. Each meal for only $9.99. Great value for great food. I would definitely recommend if you like Indian food. **** Four Star Rating ****
