The neighborhood was well-lit with vibrant art and window shopping providing a great ambiance on the short walk from my car. The staff at Cottonmouth were welcoming and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. The live music was fantastic, with all seats offering a close and pleasant listening experience. It was evident that there was a loyal following at the restaurant, as the interaction between the staff and customers was friendly. The menu featured delicious regional dishes and a nice variety of options. The outdoor music area had a charming atmosphere with sparkling lights, beautiful old Florida trees, murals, and a lovely building. Cottonmouth regularly hosts live music events, including jazz performances on Sundays. The restroom was immaculately clean. Indoor seating was also available for those who preferred to dine away from the band. I look forward to returning to Cottonmouth often.
This dining experience was more than just a meal - it was unforgettable. The live blues musicians, outdoor seating, exceptional food, and top-notch service combined to create one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in memory. Despite being informed that they had run out of jambalaya, the chef went out of their way to prepare some for us anyway, and it was absolutely delicious. The greens were fantastic, and the fried chicken was both flavorful and tender. The drinks were also excellent.
We had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while but hadn't been able to until now. We were delighted to find out that they were hosting a women in blues event over the weekend. The back area was full so we sat out front instead. We ordered the crab cakes, calamari, and fried green tomatoes, and everything was delicious. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
We had an amazing time at this restaurant! Located in the backyard of a charming home in Bradenton's Village of the Arts, everything was fantastic. Kyle was excellent as he hosted, served, cleared tables, and ensured everyone's satisfaction. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music was great. And the food - wow! The biscuits and baked goat cheese appetizer were outstanding. The sweet touch balanced perfectly with the tanginess of the tomato and goat cheese, creating a delicious savory flavor. We highly recommend this place!
This restaurant is fantastic! We were in the area looking for a place with music, and we were lucky enough to catch Mitch Woods performing. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. We had an amazing night. I enjoyed the southern fried chicken, smashed potatoes, and collard greens.
