The large chips are huge, enough for 2 or 3 people as a side. Friendly staff, plenty of parking. Drive through or eat in.
Snack stop, those Brodies Mealmakers stores after voluntary administration are temporamental in trading: opening and closing and then also advertising with 'Brodies' being used in advertising with different logos, slogans and business names(?), from my travels and minority links through robot search engines advertising. First purchase in a few years, regular chips... Cooked to order, under 5 minutes wat at the counter. Salted as average and usual, there was not a lot of salt in the bottom of the packet when finished although uneven, some chips had salt and other chips did not. Cashier was friendly but did not seem happy and did not smile also did not know anything as in didn't offer any conversation; maybe drawn to the in restaurant to instead of radio now. Drinks fridge unlocked again, fridges are argued over I guess locked and unlocked due to wastage: trip, slips and spills by customers and theft. No catering display but table with circulars supporting the local community instead in fron of the drinks fridge. Advertising sporadic with specials banner up and down and again I do not know whether promotions regularly change anymore as I have come across stores open and closed in a temporamental trade pattern. Graphite looks like it has been grasped a handle on and the area upgraded with Woolworths and McDonalds; althought customers still few and far between every time I have stopped there in recent years. Cold display stocked and original, Nothign special there. Menu board photos looked full of colour instore and not faded. Drive thru menu board still old and tattered mechanical look as opposed to new fashioned rounded corners of cars what industries follow. Second stop on the way back of our road trip, no customers, one less than first visit and I ordered and paid then asked for my money back and was given my money back; I thought to shop elsewhere with no cashiers and manager only taking orders in front of house and drive through registers and leaving deep fryers and hot cooking equipment without any communication or delegation to kitchenhand so before walking out to serve.
This restaurant is terrible. It used to be the best, but now the quality is poor and the customer service is disappointing. It's sad to see that all their hard work has gone to waste.
I recently ordered a 1/4 chicken and chips from Brodies Strathpine and it was extremely disappointing. This wasn't the first bad experience I've had there, and it will definitely be the last. I doubt even a dog would eat it.
There is a wide variety of delicious meals available at great value, with friendly staff and Facebook-exclusive specials and contests. The staff is accommodating and willing to customize orders as needed.
