We have loved each visit to Taste in Flavours. To be honest we haven’t got past the vegetarian part of the menu yet as the menu is extensive and each dish has been wonderful. It’s definitely not one of those restaurants where a few different sauces are plonked on a few different proteins or vegetables. Each dish has its own definite flavours. It’s the best Indian I’ve had in Brisbane and possibly Australia. We’ve travelled to India many, many times and this restaurant definitely evokes memories of the wonderful flavours there particularly of the Punjab. The samosas are very good. The pastry is just what it should be but rarely found in Australia with a crunchy softness that’s delectable. The date and tamarind dipping sauce is great but my favourite is the mint chutney, it’s just like I remember having in India. It’s totally BYO and there’s a good bottle shop 2 doors up. Don’t be put off by the lack of patrons in the restaurant as their main business is take away. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. We’ve been back for the goat curry and it was also sensational. Date of visit: July, 2019
Delicious!! Tastiest Indian food I’ve had in a long time!! Good size portions but could probably have a little more meat in the meal. The cheese and garlic naan bread is seriously good too!! Definitely will order from here again!!
I work locally and have eaten here three times now, every meal has been great. Packed full of flavour, and very generous servings, and friendly staff. I would be more than happy to have a Taste of Flavours as my local curry house.
Came here once when the new owners started managing this place. We had a great experience then. Came second time and we were amazed! Good Indian food with great service. Can’t visit as much because of distance. Thanks guys!
