The Chocolate Moose - Bozeman

This restaurant is locally owned and primarily sources its ingredients from the surrounding area. The owner personally makes her own taffy in a variety of flavors, and every time I've bought it, it's been soft and fresh. It brings back fond childhood memories of enjoying saltwater taffy in Estes Park, Colorado, during vacations. The chocolates are also amazing. While the idea of paying by the pound may seem daunting, you might be surprised by how much you can take home without overspending. I've yet to try anything that wasn't delicious. If you have a sweet tooth or want to delight someone special with a lovely gift, this is definitely the place to visit!

This place is truly fantastic! I not only love their products, but their service is also outstanding. The staff are friendly and respectful towards customers. If someone has an issue with employees not wearing masks, that sounds more like a personal concern than a straightforward problem. However, for those who value freedom, this is the ideal spot to be!

I absolutely love the Chocolate Moose! They offer fantastic candy novelties that are perfect for snacking while exploring the beautiful sights of Bozeman. Their delicious ice cream is a great way to cool off on warm days. By the way, the face mask policy is not a law—it's simply a guideline. I appreciate that they give customers the freedom to choose whether or not to wear a mask. If you don’t like it, feel free not to enter. I will definitely continue to support the Chocolate Moose and enjoy this charming little shop on Main Street!

We love the Chocolate Moose! Great ice cream treats, friendly staff and well run business. THANK YOU for not enforcing the mandate of masks and for trusting that we know how to wash our hands, stay home if sick and realizing that this reaction to thevirus is overblown. Such a relief to enjoy a night out and not be harassed to put on a mask that does absolutely nothing butcause more sickness. My best friend and I visited The Chocolate Moose when we were in Bozeman last summer and completely fell in love with it. Not just because we like candy, but because the overall vibe in the store was the perfect blend of nostalgic and efficient. The candy was absolutely delicious, to the point that I have had some of their salted chocolate caramels in my freezer since I got back home. Thankfully, I found the business card I'd taken with me and visited their website to find that they SHIP this delicious candy all over the country, so I could order new chocolate and not break my teeth on something that definitely would have tasted good, but not as great as it did when it was fresh. I ordered that and some Huckleberry taffy as a surprise gift for my friend, who's visiting me in a couple of days. The website defaulted to standard shipping, but I left a note offering to pay more for expedited shipping and they were able to accommodate me and my order without any issue! I'm so excited to gift my friend a little bit of Bozeman to tide us over until the next time we can make it out west!
