Seven Sushi - Bozeman

Pretty good, but not amazing sushi. I've been a fair amount since Happy Hour and recently prices have risen massively and I wasn't super impressed by the sushi. It is even at happy hour prices, apart from the beer and appetizers that are quite expensive. The service is good and the ambience is beautiful. I'll still come back, but not as often as I used to.

The Good: The service is usually really good, and we never had to wait more than just for a table here. The bad thing: food is inconsistent. Some things are good, and others are not so much, and things that were good during a visit could not be so good the next visit. When we dined here a few weeks ago, for example, the rice was boiled in the sushi rolls and still a little crispy in the middle of the grains, and my gate key-pergottini (one had before and was good last time) was missing lime taste and was sickly sweet. We have friends who love this place, so maybe we're just unhappy, but every time we go there's at least one thing we're serving that's not very good, and there's options in the city for sushi that have better food or at least consistent good food - although at cost often waits for a table.

Came in the happy hour on a Friday and we sat right away because we didn't stop eating in the sushi bar. Our server and sushi cook for the night, James, was very friendly and attentive. The Happy Hour menu has a wide range of discounts. We shared a false soup, sweet potatoes, and I tried the spicy tuna reel. I thought the soup would be something of the best I've ever had, but I would just recommend if you love mushrooms like me. The sweet potato fries were a light and delicious appetizer and you get a quite generous amount. Great to share. The other sushi roll I got was the Dancing Eel. If you love Eel, this is a must. My friend had the yakisoba and said it was nicely balanced and perfectly cooked. We also tried to season the blossom of peace and recommend it if you like sweet drinks. I wish that glass had been cooled more (they were practically room temp), but except that I have no complaints.

I was there twice. Great service, fair prices, great atmosphere and of course amazing food. Don't you miss the Happy Hour???

Just finished AMAZING SUSHI here. There are 4 of us and we ordered 5 rolls recommend by our server. This is some of the most delicious Sushi that we have had. Excellent food and service!!! Great atmosphere as well!!
