Durango's Saloon - Boyertown

We have passed this restaurant so many times so decided to try it. Service was very good. Not that big. I ordered the Delmonico steak and hubby ordered the king cut prime rib. For starters the onion soup was good. The loaded potato soup not so much. Steak was flavorful but a lot of fat and prime rib half of it was fat. Otherwise tasted good. An OMG portion of mixed veggies-so so and a big baked potato which was luke warm and under cooked. Cost is about the going rate. We have had better and we've had worse. We have decided to cross this off of our list. Glad we tried it. People were nice service good but the food leaves something to be desired.

When we arrived, the first thing that stood out was the absence of traditional dining tables and chairs in the dining area, which we had seen in photos. Instead, there were only tall tables accompanied by narrow metal stools with tiny seats and no back support. In all our years of dining out, we've never encountered anything like this before. We immediately decided not to stay and walked out. I can't imagine what the owner was thinking when they chose this setup. If you're looking for a casual place to enjoy drinks and a lively atmosphere, this might be suitable for you. However, if you're searching for a comfortable dining experience, this is definitely not the place for us—never again.

This restaurant is currently transitioning to new management, but it has been a fantastic spot for dining and enjoying drinks for many years!

I visited the restaurant specifically for the steak, and it was fantastic! The sides and beer were excellent as well. I can't think of another place where I could enjoy such a high-quality meal at such a reasonable price.

Service was great, friendly waiter. The place was just about full and we still got our drinks and food in a timely manner. Highly recommend ordering the regular fries with your meal: they come out hot, fresh and some of the best fries I've had in a long time. The burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it: medium rare, and was delicious. I am bummed I'm only visiting for the weekend, otherwise I'd be eating here all the time.
