Barrel Ale - Boyertown

It was great. Had the pulled pork sandwich that was absolutely amazing!! The chips were not chips. You were better. They were like potato wedges with an ingenious wort. The onion rings were good, but fabulous. And the chicken parmesan was gigantic. The only thing it needed was more garlic, but I like so much garlic that it could scare an Italian.

This is our way to the place for good food and drink. The cook knows his way around a smoker and the service is amazing. We never had a bad meal here. Very recommended.

My wife and I went to our weekly date night tonight, hoping for a place that had good food, but generally low key, friendly and a beautiful atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Our server, Venetia, was a pleasure. Not only did she serve us with a smile, she went beyond and beyond to be fun, pleasant and even entertaining. Our food was delicious (I HIGHLY recommend the ribs and the loaded pommes) and we had simply, generally a wonderful time. We were satisfied, both for food and for a nice evening. Well done, guys. And well done, Venetia. You have to pay more. We'll be back.

We were finally able to try Barrel and Ale for dinner, with COVID still on the photo we decided to get out. Tonight we ordered the loaded potato skins for a starter. They had a great crab at the top and lots of cheese and bacon! Then for our meals we ordered the construction of a burger with cheese bacon and pommes, and the everyday Sirloin special (6oz Sirloin, a side salad, a baked potato and season Veggies for 12.99!!! The frits were excellent with a large crunchy outside, but soft inside. The steak was cooked moderately, and super juicy and delicate, and the season Veggies were a great compliment to the steak. Can't wait for our next visit!

Steak was great, slow getting the food, but we had a family of ten. Everyone loved their dinners, the server was awesome, great sense of humor, attentive.Kid-friendliness: Good for families
