The sauce was quite layered and sturdy, so it took a second for me to take even all the flavors, but it turned out to be perfect. Not too sweet or tangie and a perfect addition to my salad. The ingredients were very fresh and the price was perfectly reasonable. But the second visit, my salad was just drowned so I couldn't enjoy much of it.
My wife's favorite place, and even as a carnivore, I find it entirely tolerable. Yeah, its pricey, but not outrageous; you get what you pay for. Selection is good, and the soups are heavenly. Service is spotty, but everyone is struggling to get employees during Covid, and they have always been courteous, but a little harried. Worth a try at least.
I love saladworks. Salad and toppings are always fresh. Rolls are always warm. However, the employees always seem to be in a bad mood.. they get the job done, but if i ask for extra of something or forget to tell them it's a to-go order, they go completely silent, subtly roll their eyes, or take a deep breath/sigh. I understand you've been short staffed and it's hard work on two/three people, but 1) you're given a break by closing 5 hours earlier than usual and 2) it's honestly not that hard to keep a positive attitude. Been there, done that. Customers notice.
Expensive unless you order just what you want. I ordered a fresh grilled chicken salad and drink. 85 cents extra for a spoonful of extra. It was $16! It could have been a great salad if the staff cared enough. They are not friendly, act like they don't want to be there. If they had been friendly I might have gotten over the cost. I hope they all have a better day!
I had their Thai Chicken Salad. The salad was decent but I ordered their freshly grilled chicken which costs a bit more. It was sitting under their heat lamp and must have been cooked hours previously. Most of the chicken was so dried out I couldn't cut through it let alone eat it. Everything else was decent, just not good or great.
