D&l Bakery - Bowling Green

I bought a cherry cake and a black berry cake. Saures dough bread and cinnamon rolls. Everything was good, but the sourdough bread was my favorite. I have to make a trip there before December.

The chocolate peanut butter bars, pecan cake bars, wheat bread, mini cake, and pepperoni cheese bread are all absolutely delicious. We also purchased some homemade egg noodles, which brought back fond memories for my husband of his grandmother's cooking. The prices are reasonable, but remember to bring cash, as that's the only payment method accepted. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last. I recommend going early to ensure you get to try everything before it's sold out.

We arrived later in the day, so our options were limited, but what we did get was delicious. The sourdough bread was fantastic, the fresh peaches were wonderful, and the oatmeal raisin cookies were delightful. We also enjoyed two late-season watermelons, which were excellent. The visit was definitely worth it. Just a heads up: it’s cash only, as they are Amish, which is to be expected.
