Comfort Inn Conference Center - Bowie

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past couple years to visit in the area. I have never had a problem with this hotel. However, while I was there my car got broken into and many of my belongings were stolen. I was also not the only one that experienced that. Someone’s entire vehicle was stolen, and many cars had their tires and rims stolen. Security was sleeping while they vandalized the vehicles. Security did not ensure a safe environment for the people staying there. The staff acted like this was normal and said it happens often and laughed about it while showing the footage. I did not receive anything for the inconvenience, I payed full price for my stay. While also paying to fix my window on my car because I was traveling back home which is a 15 hour drive. This hotel does not ensure safety. Security was sleeping for 50 minutes while they vandalized cars outside in the parking lot right next to the door. Please do not stay here they have a massive security and safety problem. I work in the hotel industry and this would never happen there.

We had our family reunion here yesterday. My husband and I traveled from NY and got here around 9 am. Trying to check in was a joke with this place. Customer service is not available here. They don't try to make you feel they want your service PERIOD. We had reservations on staying at a Comfort Inn because Marriott is our hotel of choice. They smile when you check in. Even if you check in early, if they can do it, that's great, but if not, they do everything to get you the next available room without hesitation. These people here at this conference center need lessons on customer service. Oh, and checking out this morning, no one was at the desk. We waited. This guy came through the front door and asked me if we were checking out. I said yeah he asked for me to leave the key on the counter. He never asked how our room was or if we wanted a receipt, NOTHING! We will never ever stay at another Choice Hotel. #dobetter

The hotel is decent it is located next to a lot of things, shopping, restaurants, and a stadium near by. One tip I would say is when you arrive to check in before you bring in your luggage. So that you don't end up like us walking all the way to the back tower with our luggage and then walking back to the car. Good news is once you locate your tower you can park and enter in on that side .I liked that they had a bench you could put your luggage on instead of those folding ones that I fit one piece of luggage.I didn't rate it as high just because of some things we're just odd. Like the sign of you bring free breakfast out of the food area they will review camera footage and not rent to you anymore. Idk if it is the walls or the floor but literally you could feel the bed shake when someone slams the door or was walking heavily in the hallway. Also they lock down the iron and hangers which was just weird since I have traveled a lot and never seen any other hotel so this. But all in all it was a decent place to lay my head for a 2 day trip

Very friendly staff with large and relatively clean rooms. Very comfortable and clean beds. Slightly dated decor, but still a good value. Had to change rooms because of an overly noisy ice maker down the hall (which they did graciously and promptly), but the next room was great and comfortable.Rooms: 4/5

All I can say is that this is one of the best comfort in I stayed at. Great customer service night worker. Great guy. And the day manager was very helpful. Thank you can't wait to come back.Rooms: 5/5
