Schooner - Bournemouth

Just had great Sunday lunch great service and atmosphere. First time for us but not the last.Would recommend.

Amazing Sunday roasts, delicious home cooked puddings and very good price. I don't normally eat my greens, but always do at The Schooner, taste delicious. Great for lunches mid week, from a home cooked breakfast, specials board or just a sandwich.Give it a go, you wont regret it.

This is Bournemouth’s hidden treasure. We stumbled on this restaurant by chance, as you would not find it if you didn’t know where it was. We have been going back for the last years and have told everyone we know about it. Top quality home cooked breakfasts, dinners and puddings which come at very affordable prices.If you are looking for a good traditional meal, this is the place to go. On Valentine’s Day we had what can only be described as gourmet food worthy of a top star restaurant.I imagine the chef has some kind of background in producing this level of quality cooking.

A beautiful place! we had some refreshments here last Sunday and were so impressed by the service and quality of the food we saw. the prices were excellent, much cheaper than most nearby places. the owner was beautiful, so helpful and friendly, would recommend this place thoroughly.

Today my man and 2 children visited in the age of 7 and 10 years for brunch. we arrived at 9.40 as website opened at 9.30 clock advertised that was not too much. we waited outside for a few minutes and the owner let us in. we were greeted with a warm welcome. service was fast, eating was excellent, really good value for money. the restaurant was nice and clean. nothing was too much angry and the owners were great with the children. the restaurant still works a lot to codify the rules, but don't let them out. we are happy to visit again soon.
