Pizza Express - Bournemouth

Walked in on my own. Made eye contact with two members of staff. Ignored. A family came in. They were greeted as if long lost friends and seated. I stood there. Still ignored. Walked out. Why was I ignored just for being alone?

Service was slow. Food was ok but when I have been before some years ago) you used to be offered Parmesan on your pasta and chilli oil for your pizza. Nothing like this any more. Pizzas were tasty but too big for the plate making it hard to eat.

My family and I visited this restaurant on a busy Tuesday and were seated at a nice table in the corner. We were greeted by a waiter named Djamel who provided excellent service by taking our order promptly and keeping us informed throughout our meal. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this restaurant. A delightful, flavoursome and friendly experience. I didn't have a booking and they very kindly had a table available for me, the food came in a prompt manner and also was full of flavour, the dough balls are great! Especially the pesto dough balls, the new Bosco salad is also a delight for the taste buds and has an option to come with dough sticks! The atmosphere is cool and collected and would recommend anyone to pop out and dine there!

I was lucky enough to be served by the senior KP and he made me feel so welcome. Let’s just say the dough balls weren’t the only balls I ate that night
