I had a medium-sized cod, plaice, large chips, and curry sauce, and overall, I found it to be very good value—I wasn't disappointed at all. The fish was sizeable and of great quality, and the chips managed to make it home without becoming overly soggy. While the reviews here indicate that there have been some recent issues with consistency in quality control, I’ve only visited once and would genuinely give them the benefit of the doubt based on my experience, which was excellent. I would recommend this place and plan to return.

We had an amazing meal! We ordered two spicy dishes, a large cod, some quarters, and chips, all for just over £13. Everything was fantastic! It wasn't greasy at all, contrary to some previous reviews. The batter on the fish was perfectly crispy. We definitely plan to return!

We had cod, squid chips. all cooked fresh medium-sized fish fractions were good. batter crispy chips ok still busy, even around 8 o'clock quite popular. total cost £11 pretty good value
