The menu has been revamped and the service is still good, creating a nice atmosphere. However, there have been some changes to the pickles, with the raw onion no longer in a red sauce as it was before. The lime pickle had more oil than content. The mains were tasty, though some of the chicken dishes were overcooked. I appreciated the nice touch of flowers on the table, but was disappointed that when ordering prosecco, it was not served with an ice bucket or cooler as it had been in the past. These may seem like small details, but they can affect the overall experience. Despite these slight issues, I do plan on returning to this restaurant.
I hadn't been to Bournemouth in 5 years, but I remembered Mint Leaf from my previous visit. The balti dish I ordered was delicious with tender, fresh meat cooked just right. The lady who served us was very accommodating, giving us a spacious table and even playing the Indian music I requested to enhance the atmosphere. Despite us being late, we had a great meal at an excellent value. I will definitely return.
The food was all amazing. Especially the Mint Leaf Special chicken dish. An excellent location and great service. Reasonably priced too.
We had the mint leaf curry wow!!! Beautiful one of the best Indian chefs must work there. The customer service was excellent they opened for us as another couple turned up but he was willing to do us a take away. First class food and service.
Walking around Bournmouth after 9pm trying to find somewhere to eat that was gluten free, an hour and a half later we came across Mint Leaf so glad we did, it was pate and they were about to close, Jasmine who was ever so helpful and courteous stayed open for us. I Have to say that it was probably the nicest Indian cuisine I have had, compliments to the chef and Jasmine. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and will definately be visiting here on my next trip to Bournmouth. Thoroughly recommended. Wayne Arthur.
