Cliff Poole - Bournemouth

I took my wife here for birthday and we are both so happy with all the experience. the building is very well presented and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and professional. the menu was nice, it had a good mix to choose and eating was phenomenal! the presentation, taste and quantity was perfect with perhaps my only criticism that I felt that the Greek style salat had a bit too much, it could lose a few bits and still be so good. but I wouldn't say it was bad at all. Overall, I would recommend 100% to go here, we drove over an hour to come here and will definitely be back.

Lovely food (some of it was outstanding) and decent service. I suspect the choice (two things my wife chose were unavailable and she wasn't told in advance which was a bit annoying) was affected by the fact it's closing for renovations after the Easter weekend. Would definitely recommend it and would come back again.

All the 3 courses were very well presented, and tasted fantastic, alas the roast potatoes, were not very roasted. All the meals were delicious and the customer service was on point, even though it was quite busy, given it was Mother's Day. I would've taken pics with the main course and dessert beforehand, but i was hungry and could not wait lol. Would definitely recommend.

There weren’t enough staff behind the bar. Our table wasn’t ready on time. The food was average and no better than before the renovation. The decor was too dark and gloomy maybe more appropriate for Winter dining as it felt very closed in. The staff were pleasant however and we did appreciate it was one of the first evenings following the changes.
