The Five Bells - Bourne

Not for a few years, but in any case again. beautiful friendly village pub in one for a drink and eat with friends, but not served on this day, but went out of the way and put some pizza and chips for us. very appreciated and thank you for being back

I visited the restaurant on February 6th for Sunday dinner. The drink service was prompt, but my pint was the last from the barrel and had some sediment in it. The food was decent and beautifully presented, but not outstanding. The staff were friendly, which was a plus. Unfortunately, my first choice for dessert was unavailable, so I ordered the apple strudel instead. To my dismay, it was served with the cardboard box still underneath! The staff apologized for the mistake, but I could sense their frustration when it came time to pay; there were issues with our bill. We were accidentally charged for an extra dessert and one of our drinks was missed. Overall, we left feeling somewhat disappointed, especially since we had heard great things about this place. I hope it was just an off day, as we would like to give it another chance.

New establishment with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The decor could use some improvement to enhance the "pub-like" feel, but the food was quite good. I’ll definitely return!

I visited this restaurant on Sunday for lunch with my young son and grandfather around 12:30 PM, and we didn’t leave until after 5 PM. The food was incredible and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly and helpful, contributing to a great experience. The garden area was lively, creating a wonderful atmosphere, and my son had a fantastic time on the enclosed bounce area. I will definitely be returning soon!
