However, when our food arrived, it looked mediocre considering what we spent. They advertise red chili sauce, green chili sauce, and mole sauce for their enchiladas. Unfortunately, the red chili sauce tasted just like the mole. We requested the green sauce instead, as it seemed that at Sancho's, mole and red chili sauce are simply the same uninspired flavor. The situation seriously worsened when what appeared to be either a cook or the manager came out and began to loudly rant at my wife. He complained about not having time to explain how he makes his sauces, claiming he adds chocolate to them, and raised his voice at us, the paying customers. It was completely unprofessional and reflected a complete lack of hospitality. It's disheartening that so many people enjoy this place, which honestly doesn't hold a candle to how good it used to be a few years ago when they were in Boulder, under far better management.

I visit this restaurant every week with my boyfriend, and we absolutely adore their food. The huevos rancheros is perfection!

The prices are reasonable, but the food was really dry. The tacos were decent, and the salsa was extremely spicy. I also ordered a chicken enchilada, rice, and flan, but unfortunately, everything was quite dry and lacking in flavor.

I have had their carne asada street tacos a few times (nothing else yet), and they are delicious. Service is great.

I ordered the birria tacos, and they were generously loaded with meat! They were very tasty, especially with the consomé. The restaurant has a self-serve salsa bar and drink station, and all the sauces were excellent. The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely attentive; he took orders, cleared tables, and greeted everyone. The service was great, and the food was delicious. I'll definitely return!
