Great menu. Pricey, but it seems all restaurants in Boulder are these days. Alexis was our server and she was outstanding. We sat at the two seat table tops next to the bar and it was perfect. The scallop ceviche appetizer was outstanding. Perfect for two people to share.
The raw bar is insane- such great seafood!! The oysters are amazing, great snow crab and the shrimp are delicious. Makes you feel like you’re by the ocean. The calamari is also super good. Love this place!
Our server was very pushy and rushed our entire experience just to get us finished as soon as possible to flip the table. Took food off the table with out asking if we were done or if we wanted a box to take it home. Food was good but seemed better in the pass.
Food, service and ambiance excellent. The one negative was the short pours on wine by the glass. I commented to the waitress about it and she said they pour a 4oz glass, which translates to nearly 6.5 glasses/bottle. Standard for the industry through the years has long been 5 glasses/ bottle. I was a bit surprised that she didn 't compensate considering my comment, even though I did ask her humbly in the interest of learning if times have changed during the 25 years I 've lived in Europe (perhaps they have). Still, a very pricey glass of wine considering the short pour. I will add that I bought a $150 gift card for our hosts, so I wasn 't irreparably disappointed.
