Basta - Boulder

This place has only one wood burning stove. no conventional ofen in restaurant. that makes it all delicious.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Basta! Everything, from the service to the food, was impeccable. The short rib was absolutely incredible! I have a feeling they don't often see many young diners (we brought our 10-month-old), but the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming to our family, which we really appreciated. We will certainly return for special occasions.

LOVE Basta. The pizzas are fantastic. The plain lemon, olive oil and lettuce salad is great. The half chicken is outstanding. We love the atmosphere and the food! We live in Dallas and go to Basta every time we're in Boulder.

The pizzas are pretty basic and feel a bit overpriced. There’s definitely room for improvement.

Basta was amazing! great personal, great eating. we have to start the burrata and the brot, that was delicious and a certain highlight. then we had a nice fresh salad, followed by a daisy pizza. the standout was the hugging, which was crispy and tender and pretty spirit bleeding. beautiful atmosphere, but strange location in the middle of an apartment complex. we will definitely be back! really good food and wee.
