We were looking for our first seafood meal of the season and we decided to give Pirate De La Mer an attempt. We were not disappointed. We have a lobster roll, 2 lobster rolls, a ton of fries and a Coleslaw, and we have a plate of mussels. My husband and I shared this meal on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The lobster was cooked, not damped, what it tastes, as it should, I was very grateful for it. The pommes were homemade pommes, they could have been cooked a little longer. The Koleslaw was okay, but not my favorite. The shells had a nice dough on them and were very good. The price was not a shock, the record was 23.99 before taxes and the shells were 15.99 before taxes. The atmosphere put Belair in your mind when it was open. A place we'll see in the summer.
If you are looking for seafood, this is the place to go. Price is great and the food is delicious (best scallops out there). My family and I have planned weekend trips to get seafood here, definitely a place to visit.
