Turtle Mountain Inn - Bottineau

I've been staying at the Turtle Mountain Inn for several years now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The owners are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. One of the best parts is that the motel is extremely pet-friendly. Although it's an older establishment, I always choose to support this local gem over the chain motels. It's definitely my top pick!

Excellent accommodations! They quickly switched me to a room with a single bed and allowed my dog to stay with me.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and cozy. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The Cove, which is linked to the hotel, offers great convenience for enjoying a tasty meal and a refreshing drink. Afterward, you can stop by the adjacent bottle shop to grab your preferred beer, wine, or mixer and relax in your room. It's truly a perfect one-stop destination for everything you need during your stay!

At first glance, the exterior of the property seemed somewhat uninviting, especially with a liquor store attached, which felt a bit out of place. However, we decided to give it a chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. Upon entering our room, we found it beautifully designed with wooden floors and ceilings adorned with exposed beams, along with stylish track lighting. The impressive ceramic tile shower was a highlight, and the spacious desk offered plenty of room, complete with Wi-Fi. The atmosphere reminded me of a cozy lodge we had previously stayed in. Additionally, there was a conveniently located laundry room available for guests. Overall, Turtle Inn turned out to be a fantastic discovery!
