Capanno Trattoria Bar and Grill

This restaurant is local to us and has recently been refurbished and had a change of management. It is a gorgeous spot with lovely food. The staff and manager are amazing with children and let my 5 year old son 'work' there for the night. There are a wide variety of dishes to choose from and everything is delicious. Highly recommend.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and I have been 3 times now since the upgrade and refresh by the new owners. Even though the menu has changed, I still love it. The service is great and the food and wine menu is spot on.

Had a business lunch without having been there before. From the outside I was a little worried but once you're in - it's unexpected!Really cosy, nicely decorated and the fact that you see the open kitchen when entering is beautiful. Moreover that you can see fresh food everywhere.The outside area in the back is also very nice. Now the important thing: the food is excellent! We didn't have starters, but the pasta is outstanding. We had mains, water, two coffees for 60$ - absolutely worth and I guess not exaggerated at all.If you fancy excellent Italian dish, go there - you won't regret. I certainly wasn't there the last time...

It was a warm atmosphere, not really noisey & wonderful Friendly staff. They were thoughtful offering entrees as we chatted then finally we decided on our mains which didn't take long at all. I hadn't been for 2yrs & i'll be defiantly going back.

I went for dinner many years ago and remember the food being good as it has a good local reputation. I went a few months ago for a birthday dinner and the food was great. The renovation they have done is really nice and cozy. The front room has an open kitchen and bar so it's perfect for eating alone or going with a friend. They also have tables in the front and back section of the restaurant. The pizzas & pasta are really good & we ordered a salad that they recommended that had tomato bread,bocconcini & basil. It was very yummy. If you are looking for a nice local restaurant for all occasions this one is a winner !
