Boston Lock Cafe

This restaurant is a beautiful little gem. The staff could not have been more attentive to us. They quickly found us a table, provided books to keep our young child entertained, and made sure that all of our food and drinks were just right. There's a lovely, flat, pram-friendly walk along the river that starts from Witham Way and goes all the way to Boston, with a small playground along the way. Unfortunately, they don't have high chairs, but we managed well. I would highly recommend this place!

What a beautiful spot! The staff is friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the cake is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely as well. It's clearly a local favorite, as it was quite busy during my visit. They are dog-friendly, even offering a small treat for furry friends. While my dog didn't get a chance to snack on the hot food, what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic!

A fantastic little gem tucked away in the heart of Boston. It boasts a beautiful, simple ambiance and an incredibly rich menu, all served in a warm and welcoming environment by people who clearly know their craft. As owners and passionate home cooks themselves, the individuals behind this café have poured a great deal of time, love, and dedication into creating this charming establishment. Based on the impressive equipment they have behind the counter, it's evident that they take their craft seriously. I plan to return time and again—at least once a week! Bravo to everyone involved, from the owners to the staff.

Late in the late day when it was almost the closing time, but still served gratefully. the food was excellent, but the staff was a real pleasure. absolutely amazing ease and service rarely seen in these days. many thanks.

We couldn't fault Boston Lock Café welcoming, accommodating, super-friendly team and excellent food, great attention to detail. Can't wait to find a reason to return (even though it's an hour's drive for us) because to find such quality of catering is rare.
