Roxy's Grilled Cheese - Boston

Love that they have a whole vegan menu! Made ordering very easy not to have to ask for substitutions. The buffalo tofu grilled cheese was sooo good. And of course you have to have a side of truffle fries. Love that it’s right next to FoMu to finish off with an ice cream.

The bacon cheeseburger was solid in taste but not hearty enough. I enjoyed their sauce on the burger though and the bread was also well cooked with a nice crunch. The service was quick too which was nice. I'd come back if I'm feeling in the mood for another burger.

A large variety of excellent grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers makes Roxy's a must-stop destination. I had the grilled cheese melt with pickles and highly recommend. The bread was crispy but not too hard, The cheese was perfectly melted, and the pickles add a crunch that is unexpectedly delightful. I will be returning! Four stars only because they forgot my fries, but I'm sure they were busy.

The buffalo tofu vegan grilled cheese is super flavorful and hearty. I usually don't love paying for grilled cheese sandwiches, but this was worth the money $9). It is really messy though, so be prepared. Was maybe a 10 minute wait because of takeout orders ahead of me, so order ahead if you want to pick up quickly. Would definitely come back to try some of their other vegan grilled cheeses.

Do yourself a favor and just go to McDonald?s or Burger King... Awful. The food was not fresh, the freshly squeezed lemonade? is only regularly filled they charge you almost $4 for. AC was switched off so that there were 89 degrees inside, the poor workers sweating, flying everywhere, because they had to keep the door open to try to get some air. All seats except the front bar table in the window are gone, so do not expect an ambience like the dining area to be transformed into a storage area. I'm an entrepreneur and I'm so ASHAMED to run such a facility.
