Typhoon Asian Bistro - Boston

The restaurant doesn't offer a wide variety of vegan options, but the staff is accommodating and can assist with dietary restrictions. I ordered the hot vegan dish, which was quite good, though it didn't have as many innovative ingredients as I had expected. The ambiance is typical of an Asian fusion restaurant, characterized by dim lighting. They also have a complete alcohol selection and a sushi bar.

This restaurant was my favorite spot during my time in Boston. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend it, especially if you're a sushi lover! Food rating: 4/5.

I visited for lunch for the first time and was disappointed by how squished the avocado was in the roll. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

I had a craving for sushi and noticed this restaurant had good reviews. It was conveniently within walking distance from where I was staying, and their menu included squid, which is my favorite and hard to find. Unfortunately, they had run out of squid, and I should have taken that as a sign to leave. Instead, I ordered the sashimi sampler. The fish was decent, but not exceptional, and I prefer to bite into my sashimi, which wasn't really an option here. The Back Bay roll had avocado that was quite brown, which was off-putting. At that point, I didn’t feel like ordering anything else. Our waitress was very quiet and even gave us a dirty look as we left. The restaurant was mostly empty, with a few patrons coming in just for drinks before leaving.

Two stars for location and atmosphere. Service was INCREDIBLY slow (the restaurant was basically empty) and food was mediocre. I recommend skipping this one.
