The Pour House - Boston

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The food was delicious and the service was warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth the price.

It appears that the taps have not been cleaned in a while. I initially thought it was just the first beer that tasted bad, but switching to another had the same unpleasant taste. I would recommend sticking with bottled beers instead.

I love the Pour House! I had lunch here the very first week that I lived here in Boston in 1996. I don't think the prices have gone up since then. Whether you come for brunch, a burger, a drink or 10, or anything on their menu, they never disappoint. The naysayers on here really need to get over themselves and stick to the pretentious South End. My husband and I were just here on Thursday night and we had an excellent meal of appetizers and a few drinks. With so much gentrification and over-developing going on in Boston now, way too many Mom and Pops have been driven out, but the Pour House remains and I truly hope that it continues to thrive for many years to come. Hell, they even have my High school yearbook photo displayed behind the bar <3
