The servers spoke Spanish, which added to the authentic atmosphere. My only criticisms are that the decor could use some improvement—it looked a bit cheap with blurry posters—and I wished there were more easily accessible condiments. The location is also a bit unusual, but that adds to its charm. I would definitely go back!
Incredibly delicious! This place offers authentic Mexican cuisine, and the staff are wonderful. I'm so glad I discovered it, and I can't wait to return!
I heard from my brother that Tenoch is the go-to spot for a delicious torta, so I decided to check it out while I was in the North End, and I was not let down. It's only a couple of blocks away from the Paul Revere house. The atmosphere inside was cozy and modern, with a bit of a hipster vibe. I ordered the chorizo torta along with a Jarritos, and it turned out to be one of the best sandwiches I've had in Boston.
Tacos were pretty good! Highly recommend the pescado taco which is the closest taco in the picture. The fish is crispy and savory with flavorful toppings and sauce. The chorizo taco is simpler but still authentic and delicious. The Adobo pork taco pictured in the middle was drier than expected. Also, the drink selection is limited. But they do have bottled coke which is the best way to drink coke!
This my first time here and I love it! My Chorizo Cheese Torta was to die for! And the horchata delicious, just sweet enough. The service at the counter was friendly and extremely helpful, I just think that they can do a better job with the ambience and they would get my five stars. Definitely coming back!
