Legal Sea Foods Park Square - Boston

What a tough experience. NYE, had a reservation 30 minutes to get water, no glasses and 1.45 total to dine. Lots of management around but our server was quite scattered.

It was disappointing. My date had to send her fish back twice and I could have sent mine but didn’t. Both were undercooked. The waiter was nice and helpful.

Okay but not great. Our server was truly great, the food not too much. Mussles appetizer was delicious, the linguini and clams entree far less.

Fried clams were disappointingly over-fried and dry. They were served in a large baguette which was a mistake since this is not supposed to be a clam roll. Anna’s haddock was good but lacked the moist buttery breadcrumb coating it’s known for. Side vegetables were steamed and nondescript. Legal chain has become very inconsistent from restaurant to restaurant. Some improvement is needed.

Went for the Chowder day, . Nothing beats legal Clam Chowder!
