This has become my spouse's and my new favorite restaurant! We've visited at least a dozen times since it opened. Sid is a joy and one of the reasons we keep returning. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and they have a fantastic beer selection.

We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday at the Cunard Tavern last Saturday. Before our arrival, I spoke with the head chef about the menu and arranged a sampler of appetizers for 20 people. The food was hands down the best we've had in Boston in a long time! Our entire group enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we decided to stay and hang out at the bar after dinner. We will definitely be returning soon!

Highly recommend the scallop dish!! Seared scallops on top of corn and lobster salad. Loved the atmosphere and fun cocktails. Can't wait to revisit soon!

UPDATED REVIEW: After my first few times in I left a so so initial 3/4 start review. I'm pleased to say they've been really upping their game and have found their groove. I've now been in 6+ times and I think this is becoming my new favorite place in the area. BTW.. It's also just the perfect brunch fix I've been seeking in the area. The french toast casserole is incredible. 5 Stars well deserved :
