Avenue One - Boston

For dessert, we shared a decadent Guinness chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberries and blackberries, accompanied by a scoop of Irish Cream vanilla ice cream. Our waiter, Narayan, provided friendly, professional, and attentive service. The atmosphere is modern and sophisticated, yet quiet and relaxing. Plus, parking is convenient in the Hyatt Regency’s underground garage. After our delightful dinner, we walked just steps to the Boston Ballet. Treat yourself to Avenue One; you won’t regret it!

We ordered takeout from Avenue One Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Boston. The service at the bar was exceptional, and the food we took home was quite satisfying. They advertise their New England clam chowder as award-winning. I'm not sure if that's the case, but I can confidently say that the chowder is really impressive!

I spent $38 on this meal, and it was quite disappointing. The scallops were small and lukewarm, almost undercooked. The pork belly was clearly deep-fried, making it tough and dry. The crema was excessively watery. The broccoli and cauliflower were barely cooked and lacked seasoning. Overall, it was overpriced for both the quantity and quality of the food. I didn't mention anything to the staff because I just wanted to finish my meal and return to my room after a long day of training at the hotel. If I had paid out of my own pocket, I would have definitely spoken up.

Great food, enough options. Slow service but not an issue since we reserved with plenty of time before a show. Would keep the restaurant in mind and dine again but be sure to allow enough time. We were seated at 5 pm and were served and finished at 7 :30

Service attentiveness was very long wait for not even a full dining room. Received no side plates with our appetizer. Waited for one desert for 30 minutes after ordering when there was maybe 4 tables total left in the restaurant at that point. Price point on the martinis being 18$ each was extremely overpriced for the size of the glass and quality of drinks. Overall experience was very mediocre at best. Disappointing to say the least. 3 stars was generous.
