Instead of going here, go to Il Panino, which is from the same group and it is totally worth it. More reviews in Instagram @pa.babear
Make sure to make bad experiences. My wife and I celebrated a good week and thought we should treat ourselves and find this place online. As soon as we sat, it took 10 minutes to be welcomed by a server. No problem, busy Friday nights mean we all have to wait for water. As soon as the server was able to take our drink order, he informed us that they cannot make martinis because the only alcohol they serve is aromatized citrus and that we need to order advanced drinks. So I ordered a ?margarita?. After 15 minutes wait to the ?margarita I tasted only sugar water. Zero alcohol content. We commission oysters served at an angle that allowed all oyster juice to drain into the small icebox where they were served. I asked about hot sauce and cracked pepper and the server looked like he never heard of these things. As soon as these things arrived 15 minutes later, the oysters with which these things are accompanied were already eaten. Entries: I was served cold manicotti with tomato sauce that had no spices, not even salt, and my wife was served cold and sticky fatty succinni. When I brought this up, my court was taken away from me and returned without being heated. Buyer Careful. The food and beverage quality here is pathetic.
Exceptional experience here at aqua pazza. The best thing about this place has to be the food, which was phenomenal. Below are the subcategories of the review. Food 18/20. Some of the best food I have had in the area. Burger was awesome, the lemon salmon appetizer was the best I have had (even better than some sushi places) Service 7/10. Very attentive with refilling water, patient and kind . Atmosphere 5/10. Very hard to get truly nice atmosphere given its space and location. The inside looked super cramped and a bit claustrophobic. The outside was actually super enjoyable. Overall score 30/40 (Great experience you definitely need to go) Favorite dish Lemon Salmon
Great food and great service! This restorer is part of Mare and Assaggio and you can't go wrong, come here for dinner. outdoor seating available. Cosy little bar inside? great cocktails (good espresso martini and splash). Food was delicious and the first time in Boston I found the Orata fish (Mediterranean fish)? Very good! Risotto with fish was the special at the Nite? good portion and delicious.
The whole concept of Aqua Pazza was very similar to that of Mare Oyster Bar which is only a block away. Since they are operated under the same ownership, this was expected, so we decided to go for dishes that seemed more unique. We started off with a dozen oysters and salmon crudo which were all fantastic. Oysters were on par with what you would get at other North End restaurants, and I also enjoyed the touch of scallions on the crudo. For the entrées, we had the aqua pazza, orata, and the lobster pillows. As expected from a contemporary Italian restaurant, seasoning was kept to a minimum, and ingredients on the side only existed to highlight the flavors of the seafood in its respective dish. Aqua pazza was similar to cioppino but without the tomatoes. The white fish in it had an extremely buttery texture, but the dish overall wasn?t too interesting. On the other hand, the combination of grapefruit, artichoke, and the orata was particularly memorable. The only disappointment was that they kept all the windows open during a hot day with high pollen levels. For people who are allergic to pollens, this may be one of the worst place to dine in during the spring. The inside temperature also ended up being higher than the outside due to the heat from the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great experience overall, and I would recommend checking them out.
