Jill and Teresa were wonderful hostesses during my visit. They graciously guided me and my service animal to our seats, and the service throughout was outstanding. The staff was genuinely friendly, and the soup of the day, which was a chicken vegetable orzo, was warm and delicious on that windy evening. I also enjoyed a Rutherford Merlot from Sonoma Valley, and everything I ordered was tasty! I'm so glad we stopped for a meal after exploring the state park. We had to head back to Los Angeles since we hadn't planned to stay overnight, as we needed to take care of our pets at home, but I would highly recommend considering a stay at the hotel as well.

One of the main reasons we return to this cozy bar is to catch up with the wonderful bartender, Jeanie. She is always so welcoming and has plenty of stories to share, no matter how busy she gets. Sometimes we enjoy dinner at The Fox Bistro, but other times we prefer to relax at the bar. Regardless of where we sit, I always start with the Borrego Flower cocktail, made with Tito’s vodka, locally sourced ruby red grapefruit, and a few secret ingredients, which I highly recommend. Although the bar menu may seem a bit pricey, the portion sizes are generous, especially considering that much of the food is brought in from afar. We love the chicken wings, which are huge and crispy, as well as the quesadillas for our bar snacks. Overall, the Fox Den Bar is always one of our first stops when we visit Borrego Springs.

The drinks are excellent, the service is outstanding, and the bartenders are a delight! It's a truly enjoyable and inviting bar.

Leo was fantastic! As a new bartender, he impressed us with freshly squeezed strawberry lemonades, and we enjoyed the best coconut and Cadillac margaritas we've ever had! He was attentive and made sure to check on us every time he left the room, even during the busy hours. Thanks, Leo!
