I don't understand how they can own a restaurant and have so bad food and service. the prices were not cheap, but expensive. good service at the beginning, but after we ordered the bottle wein, everything went down. that was brot. good and terrible. our escapes were brought out at a time. the third plate took forever. there is no apology for these trips. the uttered huh called house speciality, had no taste. barely used all Indian flavors and the cook added banana slices as if this should improve the dish. the same with the other Indian court. there is no mix of Danish and Asian, as a reviewer wrote. it is either Indian or not. they never asked us if we want anything else. we ate in le port in the next night to for this terrible expensive experience.
That is the restaurant we prefer in roenne. I usually don't like buffets, but I was surprised by the variety and quality of the buffet here. my friend had an Indian curry and loved her. prices are quite reasonable in view of the quantity and quality. go hungry
Great eating and friendly staff. there was an interesting mix of Asian, Scandinavian and raw food. all very delicious! would definitely recommend.
Steering away from the steaks and pizzas of the town walking street, Selmas offers a refreshing menu of traditional Danish foods like smoked herring and fresh fish as well as a selection of Asian/Thai dishes. In a surprising way, there were some of the Asian...elements in the preparation of our classic Danish herring and fish of the day dishes. While the gourmet presentation was pleasing, the sauces were a bit bland. Maybe to ensure the exotic flavors would not overpower the fish. I saw some really interesting salad dishes go to the table next to us. This is a family-run business but the owner seemed to lack a service with a smile demeanor. We may go here again, but I will try the Thai curry dish next time to get more flavor.
