Cafe Baldeau - Boppard

Had a short break in this caffe when visiting boppard (13.6.2022) and had cappuccino with slices of cake that really delicious and some white wein. the cafe owner conditormeister sooneau was very polite, shows us some photos and explains the history of. the place a great visit with very delicious cake, thank you.

Very nice place right on the riverside. The owner spoke excellent English showed us old pictures of the family run business. Fantastic selection of cakes pastries!!

We found this lovely place on the first day of our stay and went back for more on the sceond day. Came in talks with the owner who told us of its very interestting history on the place as well as helped us out on...finding one of the few restaurants open in this period in the region (2cnd week of jan). We liked the pie so much we ordere a whole abricot kase kuchen to bring with us to the netherlands the day after when we would head back home again. Definately worth a visit! note : they also serve wine and some foods where you can get the menu for upon requesting!

We stopped there for a coffee and a home made cake on our bike trip, a great place and worth taking a turn from the central city place. The cakes and the service are excellent RSTMN 9/10

Food and wine are good, but evening spoiled by having to find ATM so we could pay. Not sure when they will join 20th (or 21st) century and accept cards. Took edge off evening. Welcome to Germany.
