Austin House - BOONAH

The food and service at this restaurant are incredible. Mitch is a very talented and creative Chef who never disappoints. Every item on the menu is delicious. This is definitely the best restaurant in the Scenic Rim, at least in my opinion.

This restaurant offers a sophisticated dining experience with excellent service and delicious food, all without the high price. Whether you're looking for a special occasion or simply a memorable meal, this is the perfect place to dine in Boonah, whether you're a local or just passing through town.

The food is prepared well and the service is outstanding.

I was here twice now, and while the quality of the food is fantastic (the pig was beautiful, but I did not have the bitter quinoa salat sorry) there were a few dings that ruined it for me. both paintings, the main thing took an hour, so they come ready to wait. the restaurant was either not busy when I left, so I assume it takes so long. it is a quiet restaurant, very little atmosphere, so that waiting can really pull out. because it can wait quite a bit, it brings me to my main problem. the chairs are awfully uncomfortable, please for the dear gottes (and their customers) they get some kisses for the seats. our poor older tante could almost not run on these chairs after an hour, and I was the same and I am not older! the inconvenience of the chairs meant that we did not stay a minute longer than necessary and do not order dessert. oddly, the restaurant is not licensed, so if they want a glass wein, they need their own, or wander the street in the pub and buy something. it is strange that they cannot order a glass of wine in a restaurant of this caliber. Finally there is no air cone so that the visit of this restaurant on a hot day / night can be quite unpleasant. they have a big fan, but unfortunately it doesn't. although eating is good, no complaining about eating, but it is unlikely that I would come back here. I can get a good meal, with air cone, weeping, comfortable chairs in less than an hour to eat at many of the other local places. please buy some cushions pleasees would also be helpful if they could book if they could advise them byo so that they can get ready, and let them know that food in the rule approx. an hour takes, a little more communication would help customers get more prepared.

Outstanding, friendly service and the food was absolutely Devine... fresh and very tasty! Best restaurant we’ve been to in ages and we will be back again soon!
